Our Story

On a crisp autumn evening in 2017, the streets of Vancouver were carpeted with golden leaves, and a faint chill lingered in the air. Daniel Huang and his wife Catherine were taking a leisurely stroll with their three-year-old daughter Chloe when the sound of joyful laughter caught their attention. A little girl zoomed past in a bright pink Chevrolet toy car, her parents walking beside her, their faces glowing with happiness. In that moment, something stirred in Daniel's heart. Kneeling down, he gently asked Chloe, sitting in her stroller, 'Sweetie, would you like a car like that? Daddy can teach you how to drive, and we can play together.' Chloe's eyes lit up with excitement as she nodded eagerly.

That simple conversation ignited a father's dream. Daniel had always wanted to do something special for his daughter, and now, he had found his answer—he would give Chloe her very own toy car and share that same joy with children everywhere. Two months later, a meticulously crafted Bentley-licensed toy car arrived in Canada, becoming Chloe's most treasured possession. But this gift of love also quietly gave birth to something greater——in 2018, fueled by Daniel's passion, Voltz Toys was born.

The road to success was anything but smooth. Daniel's family became his strongest support. His wife Catherine left her stable banking job without hesitation to stand by his side. With limited resources, they built their first makeshift shelf in their garage, and a small room at home became their office—the humble birthplace of their dream. Old friend Gen and young talent John joined the team, bringing their energy and skills to the venture. Starting from scratch, Voltz Toys grew step by step, gradually earning the trust of high-end car dealerships across Canada and breaking free from the constraints of the traditional toy industry with its unique brand vision.

In the autumn of 2018, Daniel embarked on a journey back to China. He knew that to realize his bigger dreams, he needed to find like-minded partners. At the Canton Fair, he met Mr. Yao, the founder of Shuangxi, the largest ride on car manufacturer in China. Impressed by Daniel's sincerity and vision, Mr. Yao extended his unwavering support, granting Voltz Toys exclusive distribution rights for Shuangxi toy cars in Canada. This partnership infused Voltz with new energy, propelling the brand into rapid expansion—from wholesale to retail, from a single product line to a diverse portfolio, Voltz's footprint grew steadily.

2019 marked a year of explosive growth for Voltz Toys. The launch of their independent website and strategic expansion across e-commerce platforms laid a solid foundation for the brand. When the pandemic swept the globe in 2020, many businesses struggled to survive—but Voltz Toys defied the odds. Its signature red-and-white branding, echoing the colors of Canada, became a symbol of resilience and vitality. From a single wooden shelf in a garage to a sprawling 10,000-square-foot warehouse, from the tireless efforts of the founding team to a dedicated staff of 20, every step of Voltz Toys' journey has been written with determination and belief.

Today, the Voltz Toys story continues. What does the future hold? We believe this is more than just the rise of a brand—it's a legend crafted by dreamers who dared to chase their passion. As our motto goes: 'Drive Small, Dream Big.' In the world of Voltz, every little steering wheel holds the power to turn boundless dreams into reality. And together with our cherished customers, we're driving toward new horizons, witnessing the magic of childhood, one unforgettable ride at a time.
